The Middle Fork of the Salmon is a world-class cutthroat and rainbow trout fishing stream due to its clear water and the lack of upstream dams. All fishing on the Middle Fork of the Salmon is catch and release with single, barbless hooks, due to the protection of this spectacular watershed. Fishing is possible on all of our trips, but we also offer a special boat, knowledgeable guides, or a designated fishing trip for avid anglers.

Special Fly-fishing Boats on the Middle Fork

In response to guests' requests, we have introduced special fly-fishing boats with experienced ECHO fishing guides. These guides are familiar with the best fishing spots on the Middle Fork and often guide fishing trips throughout the world.

The boats can accommodate one or two guests and a guide and will travel at a different pace than the rafters. You may leave camp earlier, carry your own lunch, and arrive in camp later.

Dates: Any of our trips (availability)
Price: $1495/boat

(This price is in addition to the regular per person trip price and can be used by one-two people for the entire trip or shared among a group with two people at a time riding in the fishing boat.)
