This is Audrey
When Audrey interviewed for a job with ECHO, the first half of the interview involved Audrey working to convince Zach and me that we should hire her. The second half involved Zach and me trying to convince Audrey she should work for us. We were sold. She seemed to have some doubts, but we quickly convinced her that working for ECHO would be fantastic.
Audrey exudes exactly what we look for in guides. She is open, energetic, friendly, modest, enthusiastic, and very funny. Audrey’s personality can best be described as effervescent.
In the time she has been with ECHO (6 years!), Audrey has progressed beyond our expectations. She not only has the right personality, she is also strong, athletic and competent. And she delivers the best geology talk I have ever heard. She also operates our “sweep boat” - the very large gear raft that is used only on the Middle Fork of the Salmon. This is a job that only a handful of women have mastered.
I love guiding trips with Audrey. Her laugh is infectious, she keeps everyone entertained, and I never have to worry about her getting that very big boat down the river.
