Combine wine tasting with a beautiful canyon
Date: June 25 - 28, 2008
Price: $845/person
One
of the most popular trips on the Rogue River is our annual Wine and Whitewater trip. Join us for this wonderful combination of whitewater rafting paired
with a wine tasting each evening, on the Wild and Scenic section of the
Rogue River.
On this four day excursion, ECHO will be accompanied by Tamra Lotz, Assistant
Wine Maker for Mumm Napa. After days spent on the river, each evening
Tamra will present wines for sampling and discuss the centuries-old techniques
of wine making developed in Champagne, France and continued in the Napa
Valley. Hors d'oeuvres and meals will be chosen to complement the wines,
and as always, ECHO guides will handle all preparation and clean-up leaving
our guests to relax under the stars.
We will spend three nights camping along the Rogue River, which flows through the Coastal Range of beautiful southern Oregon, and is one of the most famous wilderness rivers in the West. It features exciting rapids, warm water, and an awe-inspiring wooded canyon with abundant wildlife, including black bears, bald eagles and river otter.
