Three Day Lodge Trips

On Oregon's Rogue River

Dates: June 9-11, 2010
Price: $915/adult & $865/youth

Here is a trip that offers the best of both worlds: running a Wild and Scenic River by day and experiencing the comforts of sleeping in a lodge at night. While we make our regular trips very comfortable, you may prefer dinner at a table, a roof over your head, a hot shower, and a bed to sleep in.

Black Bar Lodge on the Rogue RiverYou'll travel the same 38 mile stretch of river that we do on our four-day camping trips, but because we don't have to set up camp each night and take it down every morning, we can do the trip comfortably in three days. The lodges are rustic but pleasant and comfortable.

Your first night stay is at the Black Bar Lodge. The staff at the lodge will transport your bags to your room. There is ample time to go for a hike, play frisbee on the lawn, or take a nice nap. You will be served dinner as a group inside the lodge. It is a time to share stories about the day and to learn about the exciting rapids that you will encounter on day two.

Your second night will be spent at Paradise Lodge, a scenic lodge downriver from the famous Blossom Bar Rapid.

Again your bags will be transported to your room, and you will have an opportunity to explore one of the many activities the lodge has to offer including a driving range, many hiking trails, swimming holes, sauna and a wide variety of games. You will sit down to a hearty meal inside the lodge with your new friends.

On the last day of the trip you will wake up to breakfast and coffee before loading into the rafts and floating down to take-out at Foster Bar.
