Adam Farmer
Famous Rogue Guide
Adam trained as a river guide in 1998 while going to school at UC Davis where he graduated in 2000 with a degree in business. He spent his first few summers as a guide on the American River in California and started working for us on the Rogue in 2003.
- Adam Farmer
When the Rogue season ends he loves to travel and run rivers in other countries. His favorite international rivers are the Zambezi in Africa, New Zealand's Kaituna River, and the Pacuare River in Costa Rica. In previous winters he worked as a substitute teacher, carpenter, and bartender.
After a long career as river guide, Adam is trying to grow up and join the real world (in a BIG way). This winter he's enjoying the sun in Southern California and working for a Hollywood director/producer.
Guests remember Adam for his infectious smile and his genuine enthusiasm for being on the river. If you are lucky enough to be on a trip with Adam as the head guide come prepared with your best stupid human tricks and jokes. You'll have a blast!
