Colleen Winters
Middle Fork Salmon and Rogue Guide
Colleen came to ECHO in 2000 after graduating with a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Beginning with her first river trip on the Main Salmon when she was thirteen, her love of river trips deepens with each season on the river. Guides and guests alike will tell you that Colleen brings great river sense, a playful attitude, and a constant smile to each trip.
Colleen says that her favorite part of a river trip is dancing in the rain on the beach. Her goal is to have a full trip of guides and guests dancing to transfixing music. Her favorite meal on a river trip is fajitas, and she is renowned for her killer chocolate fondue.
Colleen spends most of her summer guiding her favorite river, the Middle Fork of the Salmon, and can also be found on the Rogue River where she spent her first three seasons as a guide.
