Audrey Gelhausen
Rogue River and Middle Fork Guide
Audrey was born in Evansville, Indiana before heading to DePauw University to study geology and play on the soccer team. She fell in love with running while on the high school cross country team, which gave her the motivation to run a 50K trail marathon, an experience she’d love to take on again. If you wake up early enough, you just might see her coming back to camp from a dawn trail run before she gears up to make breakfast and head downstream. Her bountiful energy and infectious enthusiasm make her an instant favorite with everyone she meets.
If Audrey is on your trip, get ready for a treat! Her interactive, full bodied geology talks will transform the river canyon into a world of dynamic and explosive history. During the winter months Audrey likes to quilt and travel; she has been to 6 of the 7 continents and isn’t done yet!
Her love of the rivers brings her back year after year. Her favorite color is orange and her signature style of knee-high soccer socks and long blonde dreadlocks makes her irresistible.
