Trip Details for the Futaleufu River

The Trip Price Includes

  • Ground transportation from Balmaceda to the river, and return
  • Hotels on Day 2 and 8
  • All camping gear and stay in private camps Days 3-7
  • Meals and wine (beginning dinner Day 2 and ending with breakfast Day 9)
  • Horseback riding and mountain bikes
  • Climbing and rafting gear when needed
  • Professional river guides and instruction

The Trip Price Does NOT Include

  • International flight to Santiago, flight from Santiago to Balmaceda, nor return
  • Entry fees, insurance, visas, passports, medical costs, airport taxes
  • Guide gratuities
  • Services of a professional masseuse in some camps (optional)
  • Video or DVD of the trip ($185)
  • Hotel Day 9 (if necessary)

We work with Earth River, the most experienced and established outfitter on the Futaleufu River. We really like the way they have developed their extraordinary camps, and we are good friends with many of their guides. Either Dick Linford or Zach Collier (and maybe both) will represent ECHO on the trip.
