ECHO's Futaleufu Trip
This is a big water river that has numerous Class V rapids in an alpine setting. The trip is set up so that you'll have the opportunity to run some crazy rapids or walk around them. This is a ten day trip that includes all kinds of adventurous activities in addition to rafting. We'll be staying in comfortable, established campgrounds as we hike, ride horses, rock climb, rappel, and canyoneer in the high Andes. The dates of our planned trip are January 13 - 22, 2007 and the cost is $3000. Learn

September Guide ProfileIf you have done the Middle Fork with ECHO, you are likely to have met Rio Jose Hibarger. Rio came to us in 2000 and has been a pivotal part of the ECHO family ever since.
If you were lucky enough to do a trip with him this past season, you would remember his cakes (he was a Spanish pastry chef), his blue eyes and golden locks, and one of the long, arduous hikes that you did or heard about others doing. The Latest WordECHO has a blog titled "The Latest Word." When anything exciting happens in the world of ECHO, we post the latest and greatest. The cool thing is that if you have a Google, Yahoo, or MSN homepage, the Latest Word headlines can show up on these pages and you won't miss any important ECHO news. For those of you that are hip with computers, we have an RSS feed that can be used by a newsreader. |
| We look forward to our next river trip together! Sincerely,
