The Salmon Supreme trips were legendary in the 80's and 90's, where we ran both the Middle Fork and Main Salmon in seven days. When old time guides talk about the most epic stories, the Salmon Supreme is always mentioned.
In order to do the 160 miles in just seven days, we'll start on May 29th when we expect the water to be high. This is also when the weather can be it's worst, so you will have to be tough!

Rogue Dates
We've set our Rogue River dates and prices for 2007. In addition, we've picked out dates for our wine trip and annual family trip.
After two highly successful lodge trips last year, we are considering adding more lodge trips in June.
October Guide Profile
Long-time ECHO guide Mike Burke has just had his book published. The
Same River Twice: A Boatman's Journey Home has three basic story lines:
a description of Mike's summer of exploring remote Alaskan rivers, a
reminiscence of his years as a commercial river guide, and an examination
of transition from river guide to husband, father and professor.
Mike started guiding for ECHO in 1973, when he was an undergraduate at Cal. He has guided for us every year since, missing only the summer described in the book and 2005, when he had a shoulder injury. He now guides a trip or two each summer on the Middle Fork.
Mike is also associate professor of English at Colby College, and Director of the Honors program at the University of Maine at Farmington.
