Special Trips

April Tuolumne (e-News special) Book an April Tuolumne trip in October and for each five people you book, you receive one free spot.

Spring Tuolumne trips are popular for the great whitewater and spectacular displays of wildflowers. This season is expected to be an excellent wildflower season due to the large amount of seeds from the 2005 flowers. Learn more about Spring on the Tuolumne

Gourmet Food Last summer we came up with a plan for a Gourmet Food trip with our friend Christopher Rossi, Executive Chef and Owner of Citron Restaurant in Oakland.

Chris is spearheading a five day Rogue trip starting Wednesday, August 9th. The trip will be four days of rafting and one "lay-over" day spent hiking, swimming, and relaxing. Each evening Chris will prepare a specialty item and will finish the lay-over day with a full gourmet dinner!

Reports From the Field

October Guide Profile Geoff Phillips just finished his first season of guiding on the Rogue after graduating from our March guide school. In his first season, he became renowned for being great with 7-13 year olds.

Geoff spends his winters in Antarctica and Greenland working at research stations as an electrician and most recently as station manager. He leaves this week for four months in Greenland and will be back in California for the spring Tuolumne season. Learn More about Geoff

Idaho The past month has brought four snowstorms to the headwaters of the Salmon River. The most recent storm covered the town of Stanley with a thin layer of snow.

We look forward to our next river trip together!

Sincerely,

Dick Linford and Joe Daly, Owners
