Professional Guide School
Every
year we offer training for those interested in learning to guide. Usually
half of the students are interested in working as a guide and the other
half simply want to learn how to row a boat.
This year, our eight-day guide school includes six days of instruction on the Rogue River and two days of land-based instruction.
March Guide Profile
Ian Secrest grew up fishing in Montana and quickly developed a love
for rivers. His passion brought him to ECHO four years ago where he started
as a swamper on the Middle Fork. We quickly recognized his talents as
a guide and he's been guiding ever since.
Ian is usually the favorite guide of kids because of his playful attitude. He is often the favorite guide of adults because he knows all the great fishing spots.
