Guide Profile : Tate Higgins

Tate Higgins was initiated into the ECHO family last spring when he joined the Guides' exploration of the Owhyee River. His boating skills, southern drawl and cooking duty quickly confirmed his placement with our crew.

After a few Middle Fork of the Salmon trips, Tate joined us for a couple of weeks here at ECHO World Headquarters, and we put another of his talents, creative writing, to work. Tate wrote a wonderful story about his Owyhee trip for our blog and also contributed to our 2009 Annual Newsletter. This thrilling piece of journalism will reach your mailbox soon!
